Our goal is to implement SmartEditor with "ArcGIS for Inspire Geoportal" and
"Conterra" - "License Manager", "Security Manager" and "Service Monitor". goal.png We are always trying to use the lastest releases of these products, which consist of:
"ArcGIS for Inspire Geoportal v. 1.2.0"
"License Manager v. 4.1" , "Security Manager v. 4.1" and "Service Monitor v. 3.2"
For data storage we use "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2".
The problem is that ever since SmartEditor v. 2 "add", "remove" buttons for metadata redactor are nonfunctional. This can be seen soon after deploying smartEditor.war file into Tomcat Web Server, even before applying any configuration. Logs do not show anything of significance (INFO mode):

Re: Smarteditor-gpt-webapp v. 2 (and higher) - non functional "add", "remove" buttons for metadata redactor
this smarteditor was not able to verify the SAML ticket. Since a NullpointerException is thrown , I assume that you are not providing a SAML ticket at all. In that case try to remove the SAML interceptor in "dispatcher-servlet.xml". Or, if you are using a ticket, check the credentials in that interceptor (JKSPwd, path, etc).

I don't know whether this is due to this fix, but now I have a problem trying to publish a metadata, I received : "Invoker excpetion
The backend catalog service has responded with the following exception:
de.conterra.smarteditor.cswclient.exception.InvokerException: ; nested exception is: org.xml.sax.SAXException: Processing instructions are not allowed within SOAP messages"
